Minnesota’s beer scene contains one stout to rule them all: Rum King.

The rum-soaked stout with a savory roasted, vanilla, and toffee backbone, will be available on October 10-11 at 11 a.m. Bottles will cost $18.49, and you’ll be limited to four per person.

If you’re down for more than Rum King, the 4th Annual Hullabaloo will also be taking place that weekend. Featuring beer, bands, and cheese-filled burgers, the event promises to celebrate the beginning of chillier weather with a bang. Plus, Yamma Jamma Harvest Ale (previously known as Sweet Yamma Jamma) will be on tap along with a wagon full of casks that are sure to please.

The nitty gritty: Hullabaloo is tented and free to attend, and we do party on come rain or shine. All ages are welcome, though things do get crowded, loud, and boisterous and we’d prefer the party (like our taproom) to be adults-only after 8 p.m. We love pooches, but for these two days, please leave them at home.
