UPDATE: LTS Brewing will not open on July 24. A new opening date has not been announced.
Original story below:
LTS Brewing Co. will become the third brewery to open in Rochester, Minn., this week when it hosts its grand opening on July 24 from 3 p.m. to midnight.
LTS, which stands for Life’s Too Short, is part of a brewery boom in Rochester. Grand Rounds Brewpub recently opened its doors downtown, Forager Brewing Co. is expected to open by the end of the summer, and Kinney Creek Brewery has been open since 2012.
You can find out more about LTS and head brewer and co-founder Brandon Schulz in our Q&A.
Our take: Rochester is quickly becoming a craft beer destination with new, quality breweries opening seemingly all at once. I’ve yet to try a LTS beer, but have had a fantastic sour beer with Forager’s head brewer Austin Jevne, and can’t wait to try more of what the Rochester community comes up with.
